Wir suchen zum 01.01.2024 in der Klinik für Frauenheilkunde und Geburtshilfe (Ärztlicher Direktor: Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Janni) einen- PhD Student (w/m/d)

- ** „Fertility Protection Research Centre Ulm - FePro-Ulm“** wird am Standort der Universität Ulm ein neues interdisziplinäres Nachwuchsforscherzentrum für reproduktive Gesundheit mit dem Schwerpunkt „Fertilitäts-Protektion“ gegründet.**Projektbeschreibung**:

- Die Reproduktionsmedizin ist ein verhältnismäßig junger Bereich in der Medizin. Fertilitäts-Protektion ist besonders wichtig für onkologische Patient*innen vor zytotoxischen Therapien, für Patientinnen mit schwerer Endometriose, für Transgender-Personen sowie für gesunde junge Frauen, die ihre Familienplanung in einen späteren Lebensabschnitt verlegen wollen ("Social Freezing"). Ein Themen-Fokus liegt auf molekularbiologischen Untersuchungen von kryokonserviertem reifem und präpubertärem Eierstockgewebe. Besonderen Wert legen wir in unserem interdisziplinären Team auf die Vernetzungsmöglichkeiten, die inhaltliche und methodische Aus
- und Weiterbildung, das Mentoring sowie die persönlichen Entwicklungsmöglichkeiten aller Wissenschaftler (w/m/d).**Ihre Aufgaben**:

- Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeit bei der Entwicklung, Organisation und Durchführung von spannenden experimentellen Forschungsarbeiten im Rahmen des Drittmittelprojekts
- Forschungsaktivitäten gemeinsam mit den interdisziplinären Projektpartnern
- Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeit bei der Präsentation und Publikation der Forschungsergebnisse

**Das bringen Sie mit**:

- Abgeschlossenes Hochschulstudium (Master) in der Biologie, Molekularen Medizin oder Molekularbiologie
- Vorkenntnisse in experimenteller molekularbiologischer Forschung
- Freude an einem munteren Arbeitsalltag in einem aufgeweckten, kompetenten, interdisziplinären Team
- Teamgeist und wertschätzenden Umgang mit allen interdisziplinären Teammitgliedern
- Sehr gute Kenntnisse der englischen Sprache in Wort und Schrift
- Begeisterung für die translationale Forschung auf dem Themengebiet der Reproduktionsmedizin und Fertilitätsprotektion
- Vertragsart: Befristet
