The PhD position is funded by the
- **Advanced Clinician Scientist Programm** at Ulm University.

- Track the uptake and intracellular trafficking of bacterial sEV
- Analyse the cargo of bacterial sEV (RNA, protein)
- Determine host cell signalling pathways differentially regulated by bacterial sEV (RNASeq data)
- Identify potential host target structures of incorporated bacterial sEV components
- Establish the patientbased colonic organoid co-culture
**Qualification profile**
- Master’s Degree in biology, biochemistry, or equivalent
- Broad expertise in cell-, molecular and biochemical techniques
- Basic knowledge of graphic programs, statistical software, and online tools (e.g. Illustrator, GraphPadPrism)
- Desirable but not obligatory work experience with mice models
- Strong communication skills, fluent in written and spoken English
