At the Friedrichsdorf site, Valeo Telematik and Akustik GmbH develops and manufactures innovative communication electronics for intelligent telematics, in order to network telecommunications, navigation, positioning and information technology and to increase driving comfort and traffic safety. In order to advance our further development, we are looking for you to join our team of experts at the next possible date.
These challenges await you:
- Ensure and support the development process in the development departments for HW and SW by operations of the entire SW tool chain
- Contribute to solution build (technical prerequisites, architecture definition, technical solution orientation)
- Ensure technical alignment in relationships with other actors (hardware, middleware, software stacks, telecom, etc )
- Define and maintain standards & procedures related to the technical run operations & support
- Manage technical acceptance of solution delivery
- Manage solutions & technical administration of systems and related Eng IS tools.
- Manage local R&D technical services and technical administration / operations of systems and related Eng IS tools
- Perform regular technical audit on systems
- Define and implement process/tools to manage technical incident, problems, and changes on solutions
- Ensure solution availability, performance of solutions and contribute to availability at site level
- Define, set up and follow SLA and SLO related to group solutions
- Maintenance and support of specific solutions brought by the third parties
You inspire us with that:
- University degree in Engineering or Master of Computer Science
- 5+ years of professional experience in Linux based embedded SW, telematics architecture and production platform operations, 3 in a leading position
- Experience in standard ALM ecosystems (Teamforge, SVN, Git, Doors, Jenkins, CI/CD) is desired
- Experience with cloud technologies, especially AWS and Google (GCP) is desirable
- Understanding of cybersecurity and agile methodologies
- Project management and internal consulting skills are an advantage
- Fluent English (oral and written), German and/or French is a benefit
