**Your responsibilities**:
As the Head of HR for Climate Analytics you will play a critical role in leading and managing the Human Resources function across multiple offices worldwide. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and Implementing HR strategies, policies, and initiatives to support the organization's mission and objectives. You will lead a team of HR professionals and collaborate closely with staff members, management, and the executive team to ensure effective HR practices are in place.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. HR Strategy and Leadership**:

- Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the organization's goals and values.
- Provide leadership and guidance to HR team members across different locations.
- Collaborate with the management team to align HR practices with overall business objectives.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices to enhance HR policies and procedures.

**2. HR Operations and Complianc**e:

- Oversee all HR operational activities, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and off-boarding.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations in different countries and provide guidance to the HR team and management on relevant policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain HR systems, processes, and metrics to measure and improve HR effectiveness and efficiency.
- Implement and maintain HR policies and employee handbooks consistent with legal requirements and organisational values.

**3. Recruitment and Management**:

- Develop and implement a global recruitment and selection strategy to attract and retain top talent.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements, conduct interviews, and make informed hiring decisions.
- Oversee the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans.
- Work closely with managers to identify and address resource gaps and develop succession plans.

**4. Employee Development and Engagement**:

- Design and implement employee development programs and initiatives to enhance skills and promote career growth.
- Foster a culture of employee engagement, diversity, and inclusion across the organization.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on performance issues, conflict resolution, and professional development.
- Oversee employee wellness programs and initiatives to promote work-life balance and employee well-being.

**HR Analytics and Reporting**:

- Develop and maintain HR metrics and analytics to track key HR indicators and provide data-driven insights to support decision-making.
- Generate regular reports and presentations on HR-related topics for the Management and Executive team.
- Monitor HR trends, metrics, and benchmarks to identify areas for improvement and recommend appropriate actions.

**Your profile**:
**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A certification in Human Resources or Business Administration will be accepted in lieu of a bachelor's degree providing relevant experience requirements are matched.
- Extensive experience (5+ years) in an HR leadership role, preferably in international organisations.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations in Germany and ability to read and interpret laws internationally.
- Proven experience in managing HR functions such as recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and talent development.
- Excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to align HR initiatives with organisational goals.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity and discretion.
- Experience working in a nonprofit or project-based environment is a plus.
- Passion for environmental sustainability and knowledge of climate change issues is desirable.
- Fluency in German and English.
