YOUR TASKS
- Development and operation of a continuous bioproduction process for the manufacture of sustainable basic chemicals
- Development of a system for the continuous processing of aqueous waste biomass using dark fermentation
- Development of the interfaces to purification, sterilization and side stream recycling
- Establishment of comprehensive process analytics
YOUR PROFILE
- Several years of professional experience in the development and operation of microbial bioprocesses; Ability to work independently on complex issues
- Experience in setting up and operating modern microbial bioprocess technology and in the operation of (membrane) biofilm reactors, dark fermentation or membrane filtration
- Solid knowledge of chemical analysis of bioprocesses (HPLC, TOC, GC, IR)
- Very good written and spoken English skills
- Interest in the commercialization of bioprocesses is an advantage.
