We’re uniting over 6,500 global experts to build a scalable technology stack, including a software platform, unified electronic architecture and reliable connection to the automotive cloud. **YOUR TEAM**:
The Delivery Unit E³ 1.1 has the full economic responsibility over the entire life cycle of the E³ architectures from requirements to release to field support. Our tasks include the coordination of customer needs, the commissioning of the Tech Centers with the development of products, holistic monitoring of project progress and resolution of goal conflicts. The Delivery Unit is the defined interface to the series of the brands.
**WHAT YOU WILL DO**:
- E2E overall responsibility for system Connect & Cloud within E³ 1.1 platform worldwide over concept phase, realization and series support
- Ensuring project goals on time, budget, scope and quality in accordance with requirements of brands
- Definition of portfolio, milestones and financial framework for system in cooperation with portfolio management and controlling
- Prioritization and steering of content of subsystems (portfolio epics, capabilities, enablers) within agile development framework
- Steering of development over whole development process and solving of technical conflicts ensuring integration of subsystems to a working overall system
- Tracking and consolidation of portfolio definition progress, development progress on customer release and release approval
**WHO YOU ARE**:
- Completed studies in the field of (industrial) engineering, computer science, physics
- 10+ years of experience in the automotive industry or in consulting with in-depth knowledge of hardware/software/electronics development
- Understanding of development processes ("classic" and "agile"), portfolio management and financial processes
- Strong problem-solving skills as well as communication skills in German and English
- Agile mindset and inclusive leadership approach
- Experience with budget process of Volkswagen Group
- Experience with technical systems and portfolio of online infotainment
- Experience/Knowledge about market situation of Online Infotainment Systems worldwide, especially China
Experience with development in distributed teams
- Advanced project management skills, especially in leading large project teams & stakeholder management
