Director (M/F/x) Technical Sales Air Traffic Control

**Your tasks**:
- Professional and disciplinary leadership of a six-member technical sales team
- Overall responsibility for global sales in the ATC division, including device and system offerings, from proposal calculation to contract negotiations
- Strategic and operational management of promoting customer-specific device and system solutions
- Exploration of new markets and management of the specialist sales team in the creation of complex system offers
- Translating operational requirements into a technical solution and derive technical product requirements
- Responsibility for market-relevant requirements for the development of future products and system solutions in air traffic control
- Close interface management by the team with the areas of systems engineering, product management, project realization, and R&D

**Your qualifications**:
- Completed technical degree or comparable training with relevant professional experience in sales
- Knowledge in the field of civil and/or military air traffic control, IP networks, standard protocols, or comparable areas
- Proven experience with procurement procedures for public contracts
- Professional and industry experience in the field of ATC/ATM is an advantage
- Ability to motivate and lead a team confidently
- Ability to quickly familiarize oneself with new, complex topics, combined with a high level of comprehension
- Willingness to travel internationally, paired with intercultural and interdisciplinary competence
- Fluent English skills in spoken and written form; additional language skills are desirable
