Solution Integration Specialist

This position is responsible for project-based requirements engineering. The Solution Integration Specialist will assist project and implementation management in defining end-user workflows (use cases) and derive technical concepts. They engage with hospital IT and 3rd party vendors to discuss possible technical solutions and reflect those in data workflow and integration concepts, software systems specifications and other project-based documentation. They transfer configuration details into checklists and supporting documents and assist production personnel during factory installation and testing. They assist on-site implementation team during commissioning and configuration of our software systems at customer site, according to the pre-defined specification, either remotely or in-person. As integration specialist they also support customers and users of our systems in the usage and aligns its look and feel according to their wishes. They create documentation that reflects the systems configuration upon acceptance. In conjunction with service department, they are also responsible for maintenance of customer installations, including updates and upgrades. In their function as escalation instance for service tickets they reproduce and investigate reported issues, act as key link between R&D, service and customer and validate provided fixes.

- Work on solution designs, system integration concepts, and bundle offers based on customer requirements, technology development, and caresyntax sales strategy.
- Assist sales and assessment team to understand customers’ requirement, present available solutions, give best practice recommendations and technical support to variety of stakeholders incl. nurses, physicians and hospital IT departments.
- Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs.
- Gather customer feedback and work with Product Management and R&D in elaborating and defining functionalities and features into our product roadmap.
- Define, implement and test new features and solutions (hardware, software, services)
- Analyze and document requirements on project level.
- Define, implement and test IT based solutions (hardware, software, services) until customer acceptance according to operational requirements.
- Assist project managers and external value-added integration partners during deployment, incl. technical clarifications and issue resolution.
- Create and update technical documentation and work instruction.
- Provide solution/technical trainings to sales team, production/service personnel, partners, and end-users as part of deployment process.
- All other duties as assigned.

Qualifikation
- engineering degree in Biomed, Media Technology, IT-communication, Systems Engineering, DevOps or alike (bachelor’s degree, master’s degree a plus)
- Relevant work experience in a similar role of at least three years would be a plus (senior position) otherwise junior/entry-level position.

- Minimum of 3 years work experience as systems engineer, media technician, media engineer, IT-systems technician.

- Experience within medical device industry is a plus.
- Advanced knowledge of IT infrastructure and technologies, cloud experience a plus
- Solid understanding of Video (and Audio) integration technology and interfaces
- Understanding of DICOM and HL7 protocol is a plus.
- Experience in FW & SW administration, configuration, scripting and deployment of operating systems (windows & linux), drivers, controllers.
- Fluency in German (min. C1) and English, both spoken and written.
- Further language skills (French, Spanish, Italian) are a plus.
