At a point of major inflection and scale, SumUp is looking to hire a Chief Product Officer to drive the execution of SumUp's product vision and masterplan. This person will play a key role in driving and overseeing product design, strategy, and operations to achieve the vision of the business at large. The Chief Product Officer will report to our CEO and collaborate very closely with our CTO and all our tribe leads.

**What you'll do**
- Act as strategic partner to the CEO.
- Facilitate strong collaboration between product, engineering, tribe leads, the CEO, and other executives.
- Define, embody, and empower SumUp's product culture.
- Define and own SumUp's product vision for the next 10 years.
- Drive and oversee product design, strategy, and operations to achieve the vision of the business at large.
- Analyze the market and competitors and derive conclusions for SumUp's product roadmap.
- Oversee and implement strong metrics around product launches and interactions of product features.
- Partner with global teams to learn about local needs and expectations, ensuring our products meet the defined objectives.
- Continuously inspire, mentor, and support the growth of product leaders (up to VP level) and motivate them to deliver high-quality work.
- Help attract and retain a diverse, high-caliber team in multiple functions including product management, product design, product operations and product strategy.

**You'll be great for this role if,**
- You have a proven track record as a Product leader and have extensive experience in developing product strategy, delivering innovative solutions and executing through multiple phases of testing and launching,
- You have a deep understanding of how to manage and grow highly effective, agile product functions with a strong focus on delivery and know how to build a product culture based on a high level of cooperation and innovation,
- You have experience working in internationally distributed, highly dynamic, interconnected, multi-product companies and distributed or service-based systems,
