**Duties**:

- Produces creative designs supporting print publications, community website and social media.
- Develops communication concepts for project/product development and print and web production.
- Applies state-of-the-art technology in printing, electronic publishing, illustration, and photographic techniques to the visual information program.
- Utilizes a variety of electronic publishing industry standard design software, and visual art production equipment and technology.
- Prepares estimate of funding requirements, writes specifications, and monitors contractor’s performance throughout the entire process.

- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
- This position require an individual to have the ability to discern colors, contrast, and depth and have hearing perception within the normal range (aided or unaided).

**Qualifications**:

- Progressive work experience in graphics design or education with a major study in graphic design, commercial art, fine arts, art history, photography, visual communication, or other fields related to this position. Must have knowledge of printing, electronic publishing, illustration, and photographic techniques, theories, and practices. Must be able to communicate orally and in writing and be skilled in interpersonal relations.
