You’ll be responsible for leading and conducting end-to-end research to inform the design and development of the products and their vision.

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, sales, marketing, product development, and engineering, to ensure the Spread product ecosystem is intuitive, user-friendly, and meets the needs of users and clients.

**Your Mission - #spreadyourmission**:

- You investigate current workflows and users’ needs, goals, and pain points;
- You evaluate existing and to-be-developed features and design ideas;
- You establish an organized repository of user and client-based feedback to act as a central hub for product teams to store, access, and analyze user (client) information to improve the products and the UX;
- Communicate effectively with users and clients to empathize with their feedback in order for it to be translated into actionable recommendations for the development teams and presented to all stakeholders involved;
- You share insights with designers, PMs, leadership, and others in the right frequency and format;
- You evaluate and ensure the impact of research results;
- You advocate for user needs in internal discussions, design critiques, and project meetings;
- You identify research opportunities and evangelize the value of user-centrism and UX research;
- You work with cross-functional teams to create an outstanding user experience;
- You get to the heart of problems and make sure that the right questions are asked and resolved with the help of adequate research methods;
- You will plan, conduct and document customer workshops with modern workshop methods with a design thinking approach;
- You are the user voice of our company;
- You work with a highly motivated team in an agile environment;
- You are capable and willing to perform your tasks in a remote flexible setup in Berlin.

**Your Experience - #spreadyourknowhow**:

- ** Native German and excellent English language skills - both written and spoken.**
- Degree in a relevant field (Psychology, Cognitive Science, Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction HCI, Human-Machine Interaction HMI, Anthropology, Sociology, Data Science, etcetera.), or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years experience working in qualitative user research for digital products or equivalent experience.
- Mastery of a wide variety of user research techniques and tools.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel to customers, events, and product teams, as needed and Covid-appropriate (details to be discussed).
- Familiarity with enterprise products / B2B.
- You are passionate about learning quickly and efficiently about the user and the value of solution ideas. Iterative procedures such as Lean UX, micro-experiments, rapid prototyping, etc. are a matter of course for you.
- You are data-driven. You have a very good understanding of which survey methods (qualitative/quantitative) are suitable and when. You can advise other team members on this and explain your considerations in an understandable manner.
- You have extensive experience in using tools such as Dovetail, MAZE, Miro, and Figma.
- You have the ability to plan and estimate tasks and then execute them efficiently.
