About the role:
The Marketing and Business Development Executive will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the marketing and business development strategy for Fragomen’s German practice. In response to growth, this newly created role will work closely with the Senior Marketing and Business Development Director and the Frankfurt Partners. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to grow in an interesting and varied role in a fast-paced and innovative firm.
As Marketing and Business Development Executive for the German practice, you will:
- Develop a strong understanding of Fragomen’s German practice and market, and the key focus areas and priorities in line with the Business Development plan.- Work with the German Partners to drive forward growth and profile-raising opportunities. Supported by the Senior Marketing and Business Development Manager as required.- Identify potential business opportunities with new and existing clients through market research and tracking client, sector and competitor news and information.- Maintain the marketing content calendar and identify key trends and topics for marketing campaigns, collaborating closely with the Comms/PR/social media team to drive and support profile-raising and visibility.- Develop and maintain German practice marketing materials and maintain professional biographies for staff.- Support the pitch process, including coordinating with teams across the firm and leading on drafting, follow-up and tracking in our CRM system for allocated opportunities.- Develop and maintain the Frankfurt client and contact list and data in our CRM system.- Collaborate closely with Fragomen’s Communications & Public Relations Director and develop and maintain relationships with approved media outlets in Germany.- Manage partnerships with membership groups and Chambers of Commerce to maximise opportunities, including profile-raising initiatives.- Build strong relationships with colleagues across the region and wider firm to identify and promote opportunities for collaboration and continuous improvement.

- What we are looking for:_- At least three years of relevant professional experience in marketing and business development, preferably gained within a professional services environment.- German native speaker level and fluency in English. Excellent written and oral communication skills, including strong writing and editing skills for drafting concise and polished communications.- Proven track record of dealing with and influencing senior stakeholders.- Ability to work independently as well as part of a broader collaborative team.- A can-do, proactive attitude and an entrepreneurial mindset.- Ability to prioritise workload and pivot, as necessary, in an environment with shifting priorities and deadlines.- Ability to work independently and as part of a broader collaborative team- Knowledge of immigration and global mobility space a plus.- Strong computer skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of SalesForce, InterAction or other CRM programs advantageous.
