**Your mission**:
**About the Role**
You will support the Centre’s fundraising work by supporting the Head of Business Development and Head of Operations in implementing the Centre’s fundraising and business strategy. You arrange, coordinate, prepare and attend meetings with donor institution to discuss the Centre’s programmes and projects. You support with research on donors and donor trends and identify good networking opportunities. You will gain in-depth insights in the field of fundraising in the ICSO sector by following the everyday work of the team.**Core**
**Responsibilities**
- research on strategy, projects and contacts of institutional donors such as foundations or government agencies
- coordination and preparation of donor meetings and sector networking events by preparing speaking notes and background research
- support the Fundraising Team with strategic projects and other day-to-day tasks
- support the Communications Manager with tasks such as Newsletters
- support the Events Manager with tasks around event organisation and evaluation
- assist the Events Manager and HoO in implementing a new CRM

As an intern, you will mainly work with the Fundraising and Operations Team, but you will also have opportunities to get to know other areas of the Centre’s work.

**Your profile**:
**Required Qualifications**
- Enrolment in an ongoing study programme (“Immatrikulationsbescheinigung”)
- Your programme requires a compulsory internship (“Pflichtpraktikum”)
- Studies in a relevant field, such as Marketing or Political Science / International Relations is an asset
- Interest in the civil society sector and familiarity with key concepts in the sectors
- Good Microsoft 365 skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint)
- Diligent, reliable and focused way of working with a strong attention to detail
- Strong teamwork and self-starter skills
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken; German skills are an asset
- Valid work permit.

**Job Title**: Intern Fundraising, Communications and Events
- **Member of**: Fundraising Team (together with Head of Business Development & Head of Operations)
- **Working hours**: Ideally 40 hours per week, but we will consider less hours per week
- **Location**: Germany, ideally Berlin. Please note that we cannot support a permanent working arrangement from outside of Germany.
- **Term**: 6 months, but minimum 3 months
- **Salary**: Internal salary band VI, 450€ per month
