Project Lead for New Product Introduction

**Job Description Summary**: The development and launch of new products within GE is called New Product Introduction (NPI). The NPI process is well described and ensures that the desired product will meet the expectations in terms of functionality, quality and cost. As a part of the NPI team the project leader will be responsible for program plans for dedicated NPI pro-grams and ensures the programs meet deliverables on time, on budget and with the required level of quality. In parallel the project lead is responsible for handling launch aspects of a new product as well as an effective imple-mentation of these new products.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Drives the achievement of program’s CTQs, within budget and schedule
- Ensure NPI vitality and ownership of budget & deliverables
- Develop integrated execution plan with required business functions. (Engineering, Manufacturing., Sourcing, Services, etc.)
- Ensure program reviews with associated design reviews are completed according to project schedule, resource, and budgets
- Coordinates cross-functional activities including assessment of resources & expertise required to execute NPIs
- Measures project execution which includes finding variances between planned and actual scope, schedule and budget
- Ensure and drive industrialization and launch of new products

**Required Qualifications**
- Substantial experience in program management and/or project engineering, preferable in the electrical engineering sector
- Solid knowledge of the disciplines and inter-relationship between product, project management, supply chain, engineering/technology & related functions, costing systems, financial reporting measures
- Experience with Integrated Product Development beneficial
- Previous experience in program / project management
- Fluent in English and German
- Strong communication skills together with personal engagement to drive changes and enhancements
