In this global, cross-functional role, you’ll partner with NXP’s senior leadership team to craft and share NXP’s vision for the future of the automobile, smart homes, smart factories, and the smart cities of tomorrow. You’ll make your mark by creating compelling content including keynote speeches, contributed articles, and social media copy. You’ll also work in close collaboration with business and marketing leaders across the globe as well as colleagues in digital marketing, PR, social media, and top digital agencies.
The next wave of semiconductor growth is being driven by the rise of secure connected edge devices (aka, the Internet of Things - IoT) in everything from automobiles to smart wearables. There’s never been a better time to produce compelling content for our senior executives to help NXP reach a mix of industry influencers, policy-makers, and customers eager to develop the next game-changing secure, connected device.
The position is open to gifted storytelling and tech enthusiasts in Europe, ideally at one of NXP’s sites in Hamburg (Germany) or Munich (Germany). You will report into the Senior Director, Corporate Communications and be part of a team of 70 + marketing communications colleagues across the globe. Your objective is to create and execute on impactful executive thought leadership and storytelling strategies that increase awareness for NXP in Asia, the U.S. and Europe and to help grow both the company’s senior executive bench’s profiles as well as our brand prestige in the automotive, IoT, Industrial and mobile verticals.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and produce differentiated, compelling content for NXP’s senior executives who lead the company’s global business lines.
- Leverage their analytical and creative skills to craft stories that strongly resonate across NXP’s strategic audience mix of industry, influencer, and policy-making audiences.
- Collaborate closely with an internal brand and creative team or agencies for a consistent and impactful look & feel
- Guide event participation and drive event-related promotions
- Provide reporting across key initiatives and input to executive management presentations
**Qualifications**:
- 9+ years of work experience in Marketing & Communications, preferably in B2B and/or tech environment
- Proficiency in English language is a must; multi-language proficiency is preferred
- Proven ability to conceive, produce, and deliver compelling executive thought leadership content across a variety of mediums.
- Gifted building executive presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint or similar presentation builder; creative flair is a plus
- Outside the box thinking with an affinity for innovation and problem-solving
**Minimum Requirements**:
- Undergraduate degree in marketing, PR, communications, or related field
