Transit segment in Wabtec Corporation is built up of 3 Divisions: EC&A (Energy, Comfort & Access), Brakes & Safety & Transit Services. EC&A Division products are mainly train doors, metro station doors, bus equipment’s, passengers/security information management, air conditioning & pantographs amongst others. Within Energy & Comfort (E&C) Group, Information & Safety (I&S) Business Unit with 2 product Lines manufacturing respectively CCTV’s, passenger information system equipment and passenger safety equipment like driving aid & event recording.

I&S Product Line Finance Director has a double responsibility: He oversees the financial performance including but not limited to monthly closing/forecasting, strategic planning, budgetingfor the Information & Safety product line. In addition, he is the finance business partner of the I&S Business Unit Vice-President & other stakeholders helping shine the torch in the key strategic focus areas including business divestitures, merger & acquisitions.

He/she reports directly to the Group CFO and functionally to I&S Business Unit Vice-President. Information & Safety product lines comprises of two main OUs (operations units/sites): Annax GMBH headquartered in Germany, with Sites in Germany, Switzerland and China, and Tours U3 located in Tours, France; but supported also in several other countries by WABTEC subsidiaries.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES_I&S FINANCE DIRECTOR

Business Partner to BU Vice-President- Day-to-day support to review, pilot, forecast performance of the Product Lines- Support in performance improvement and decision making- Support to M&A on acquisition or joint-venture projects

Controlling for the Product Lines and required OUs- Responsible for the USGAAP Operating Unit timely monthly closing/reporting (P&L, B/S, Cash Flow, Other KPIs)- I&S Product Lines monthly actuals reporting & forecasting- Budgeting and Strategic Planning processes- Active participation to monthly site reviews- Presenting the Product Lines monthly Performance review to Group management, alongside the BU Vice-President- Controlling and financial analysis at product lines & BU level- Challenging OUs on their monthly performance- Participating to Project Reviews of main BU projects- Cash collection coordination for all BU allocated OUs- Control on Product Lines main tenders- Financial Audits of Projects or OUs, if necessary

Supporting as required Annax Group OU Finance Director in accounting, treasury, legal & SOX relates tasks:
- Quarterly closings with the OUs (key closing decisions)- Checking quarterly accounts of OUs- Coordination of accounting choices and issues, in line with Group policies- Compliance with accounting rules and norms including SOX requirements- Link between Group Accounting and allocated OUs on all accounting matters- In line with initiatives by Group Finance and Internal Audit (Action Plan follow up)- Risk management on tenders and key projects- Tax planning and tax reports- Banking facilities and all treasury matters, in relation with HQ- Help liaise with external stakeholders: tax authorities, banks, auditors, local authorities- Coordinate banking facilities and all treasury matters, in relation with HQ

Other tasks/topics- Interim responsibility of Annax Germany/Switzerland operating unit Finance team- Relay between HQ and sites for all other finance matters, notably Tax, Treasury, Legal- Lead and coordinate cash collection as well as working capital improvement- Ad-hoc assignments from OU Managing Director, Group CFO or Group Management- Liaise with Group sister companies on financial and administrative matters- Implementation of critical projects (project accounting, variance analysis, ERP harmonization)
