Our home is the world of media productions and global live events. We develop and sell intercom systems and technologies for signal transmission of video, audio and data. Whether Formula 1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton is talking to his pit crew, Günther Jauch is receiving instructions from the control room or referees are consulting with timekeepers at the Olympic Games - Riedel products always enable communication.
To strengthen our **Digital Transformation** team we are looking for a highly skilled **Data Scientiest** **(M/F/d)** with a strong background in data analysis and modeling. The Data Scientist will be responsible for using their expertise to extract valuable insights from large and complex data sets.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collect and analyze large data sets from multiple sources, using tools such as SQL, Python, and R
- Develop and implement advanced statistical and machine learning models to discover patterns and trends in data
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through data visualizations, reports, and presentations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and business leaders, to inform decision-making and drive business growth
- Continuously monitor and improve the performance of models over time
- Optimizing of Masterdata quality
WHAT YOU BRING:
- Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, or Mathematics
- At least 3 years of professional experience in data science, with a strong track record of delivering data-driven insights
- Strong skills in data analysis and modeling, using tools such as SQL, Python, R, and machine learning libraries
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark is a plus
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- A passion for staying up-to-date with the latest developments in data science and machine learning
