**Postdoc Scientist (all genders)**

**YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- You will be responsible for defining protocols for sample generation, preparation, method development, and direct MS-based analysis of
biological materials, e.g. plasma, serum, urine, at scale
- In collaboration with data science colleagues, you will development and implement data post-processing pipelines
- You will work with internal and external partners for generation of high-quality large-scale data sets
- You will summarize and present results to the project team members and collaborators

**WHO YOU ARE**
- PhD in life sciences or related fields and hands-on laboratory work in the field of MS or LC-MS metabolomics of biofluids
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with MS instrumentation,preferably high-resolution MS, preferably direct MS analysis
- Ability to interpret MS2 spectra and retrieve compound’s structure manually and using software packages, data bases, etc.
- Experienced with developing targeted and untargeted assays,absolute and relative quantification
- Hands on experience with sample preparation for metabolomics and lipidomics analysis
- Capable of handling, visualizing, and presenting complex data High scientific rigor, efficiency, and focus with high organizational skills
- Team player with strong communication in interdisciplinary teams
- Excellent command of English, both in conversation and writing; German speaking is advantageous
