As a passionate Product Configurator in a distributed team, you will use your knowledge and skills to support complex projects in the development of turbine components (hot gas path blading and interface parts) in the Large Gas Turbine engineering division. Your work will typically focus on developing, creating or changing, checking, and maintaining Product and Engine Configuration for turbine parts to realize on-time delivery of customer engines.

**How You’ll Make an Impact**
- Release product definition data in SAP OPP and PLM TeamCenter: create Engineering Change Masters (ECM) to release new or revised product definition (3D CAD models, drawings, engineering specs) of gas turbine parts (hot gas path blading and surrounding parts)
- Maintain product definition data in SAP OPP: create and/or revise Materials Masters (MM) and Bills of Materials (BOM) for gas turbine parts
- Manage turbine product definition changes: create change management plan, communicate proposed changes to affected parties and receive approval, and implement the changes into the Frame SPS (Standard Product Structure) BOM and/or specific EOS (Engine Order Structure) BOMs in SAP OPP
- Developing, creating, checking, and maintaining Product and Engine Configuration for turbine components to realize on-time delivery of customer engines. Ensure configuration is handed over to subsequent process steps in the best quality
- Stay in contact with purchasing/material planner, Order Management, COE, Project Leads, Frame, Service, and Part Owner. Ensure alignment of all needed requirements from all involved parties to develop a common Product Configuration so that projects and tasks are processed on time effectively and efficiently
- Support assigned tasks including data packages and ensure that Product Definition packages are available on time to meet project deliverables and landmarks according to communicated priorities

**What You Bring**
- Bachelor's degree or technician ("staatl. gepr. Techniker:in") with min. 2 years of industry experience
- More than 2 years experience in product development, preferably in power generation equipment design and/or manufacturing
- Proficiency in SAP R/3 or S/4 Hana, and Siemens PLM Teamcenter
- Proficiency in German and very good command of the English language (both spoken and written skills), ready to connect with our global teams
- High degree of pro-active, organizational and communication skills. Intercultural experience (USA, Germany, India preferred) - we value a global perspective
