As Director of Sales & Marketing, you will be responsible for event and room sales and marketing of the Munich Marriott Hotel and Courtyard by Marriott Munich City Center.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a **Multi-Property Director of Sales & Marketing (M/F/d)** in full-time as soon as possible.

**This is what your day looks like**:

- Overall responsibility for the Sales & Marketing department
- Responsibility for the administrative and operational management of the proactive and reactive sales team as well as the marketing department
- Preparation of the business plan and the sales and marketing plan
- Implementation of measures to increase sales
- Market observations as well as the preparation of competitor analyses
- Working closely with the general manager, department heads as well as the owners
- Analyzing variances, forecasting, and making suggestions and implementing measures to protect profit goals while maintaining product quality and guest satisfaction
- Implementation of internal audits
- Employee management (induction, personnel development, appraisals, interviews, disciplinary measures, training)

**What we expect from you**:

- At least 4 years of relevant professional experience in a management position in the hotel industry
- Excellent understanding of sales & marketing
- Good IT skills (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Good knowledge and experience in budget preparation and forecasting
- Commitment and a deadline & detail oriented as well as goal oriented work style
- Strong communication skills and hands-on mentality
- Solid experience with team leadership
- Fluent German and English language skills are a prerequisite
