Rapidly increasing data traffic worldwide requires ever higher data rates and lower latencies in all areas of telecommunications. However, the transmission side of wide-area networks in particular is increasingly limiting the achievable bandwidths. Therefore, with the goal of improving signal integrity, we are investigating concepts for digital predistortion for the generation of analog signals with bandwidths beyond 100 GHz. For this purpose, neural networks and machine learning methods will be used. Be a part of our team and come on a journey of research and innovation

**What you will do**
- Implementation of neural networks for digital signal processing using Matlab and PyTorch
- Generation of training data and training of the networks
- Simulative and experimental evaluation of the results and comparison with conventional processing methods

**What you bring to the table**
- Full-time student at a German university, preferably in the field of electrical or computer engineering
- Profound knowledge in the field of digital signal processing
- Theoretical and practical knowledge regarding the composition and handling of neural networks using PyTorch
- Extensive experience with Python, Matlab and other programming languages
- Good communication skills (German and English)
- Proactive and self-reliant working style
