**The Opportunity**

Abbott Diagnostics Division is looking for a

**(Associate) Professional Quality Assurance (M/F/d)**:
for the Department Validation based in Wiesbaden, Germany.

Major Responsibilities:

- Perform validation activities for test methods and processes and qualification activities for facilities, utilities and equipment
- Generate, review and approve protocols, test plans and reports in compliance with current industry standards
- Coordinate validation activities (such as input for protocol and report authoring and training on protocol) in interaction with affected departments
- Ensure that the necessary project documentation is complete, accurate and in compliance with internal and external regulations
- Conduct Trainings for colleagues
- Support during internal and external audits, e.g. with input concerning Validation-related topics
- Provide Feedback for Validation and Quality Assessments to other business units
- Interact constructively with employees, managers and cross-functional peers
- Maintain awareness of industry regulatory standards and ensure compliance to site policies and procedures

Qualification:

- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology or closely related discipline is required
- Work experience in Quality or related field experience appreciated
- Understanding of how the function supports the business
- Efficient time management to carry out assigned duties that support business goals
- Ability to conduct quality-related activities to deliver consistent, high quality documents, services, products and processes
- Capability to effectively work within teams
- Fluent in English and German

This position is limited for two years.
