**Introduction to eyrise®**

eyrise® brings new products and solutions for modern working environments and outdoor dynamic glazing, that promote human wellbeing and environmental sustainability using liquid crystal technology. eyrise B.V is an affiliate company of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, with headquarters for marketing, sales and production in Veldhoven, Netherlands.

Merck KGaA has been at the forefront of Liquid Crystal (LC) technology for over 100 years, it's likely you will have our material in your pocket in your mobile phone, or in your computer and television screens. Today, eyrise® brings the fast-switching capability of liquid crystals into the world of architecture and interior design. We develop and manufacture dynamic glazing solutions, which switch in the blink of an eye to control the quality of light inside a building.

**Your Role**:
Based in Germany, ideally in the south of the country and interacting daily with our wider team, you will identify and develop potential project opportunities in the German-speaking DACH region. You will work closely with our engineers and in-house architects to develop customer quotations. To help us convert enquiries into successful projects, you will work with customers and influential project stakeholders, making visits as needed to the offices of architects, façade construction companies and interior & workplace design firms. You will also visit customer installations, to gather feedback and to report any issues to ensure we maintain a premium sales and service experience for our customers.

You will maintain customer account and opportunity records in our CRM system and participate in monthly sales meetings with our highly collegiate team to report on activity in the field and to exchange ideas and knowledge from the market. eyrise® is a rapidly growing business with great potential and the role requires you to strive to achieve and exceed sales targets, as well as to build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers.

**Who you**
**are**
- Bachelor's Degree required; core science discipline and/or business degree preferred
- 5 years of proven sales experience in a technical environment
- Fluent in German, with professional level of English spoken
- Knowledge of consultative selling methods is ideal, but training will be provided
- Knowledge of the construction industry and ideally experienced working with façade contractors
- Experience with dynamic glazing would be beneficial, but full technical training will be provided
- Strong communication skills, a good listener with a naturally consultative approach
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills
- Results-driven with a professional approach to your work and your presentation
- Curious, while also able to work with consistency and focus
- Self-directed, and able to work collaboratively with colleagues in the commercial & technical teams
- Able to recognise and adapt your approach to work with different types of stakeholders
- Able to manage multiple projects or priorities simultaneously
- This role will be home based but you will be expected to travel visit customers throughout the DACH region and to visit eyrise® and Merck headquarters In Veldhoven, Netherlands and Darmstadt, Germany from time to time.
