We are now recruiting for a Commercial Head of Project Management (f/m/x), Onshore NE&ME who, through effective collaboration with technical counterpart will provide sound commercial leadership & drive the financial performance of the projects, including identifying and mitigating significant risk and assisting in the development and implementation of the regional strategy.
How to contribute to our vision
- Financial planning: Budget and Forecast for regional project execution portfolio
- Financial scenario preparation: Provide financial scenarios on portfolio developments (e.g., risks, opportunities, prioritization)
- Project Accounting: Secure correct books and records at any time
- Responsible to define, develop and implement the strategy for the function
- Contract Management: Secure professional contract and claim management across all projects -drive key claim settlements
- Risk and Opportunity Management: Provide transparency on and drive the project risk and opportunity portfolio
- Governance and Systems: Create and drive the best-in-class working environment for projects (tools, processes) together with global Onshore and corporate functions
- Best-in-class Team of CPMs, Project Controller, Contract Implementation Managers and Controllers of the Construction and Logistics function
- Ensure personal growth of each employee - integrate and flex-out experience to new colleagues joining
- Ensure efficient and effective early involvement of Commercial Project Management during the Sales Phase
- Responsible for the financial reporting on regional portfolio level
What you need to make a difference
Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for
- You have several years of working experience, preferably in the project business
- You have experience leading larger organizations and managers and creating and implementing common vision and goals for the department
- You have accounting and financial reporting (especially POC accounting) experience and knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., FIDIC)
- You have risk and opportunity management and FX management experience
- You hold a Commercial / Finance University Degree (Master/Bachelor) or similar
- You possess strong English skills, both orally and in writing; other European language would be a plus
- You possess the ability to lead teams with diverse backgrounds in locations within the NE&ME region and to interact with internal and external stakeholders with different cultural backgrounds
- You are a strong communicator who builds excellent working relationships with colleagues throughout the business
- Experience in sales negotiations would be a plus
