The Curricular Affairs department is looking for a

**Student Assistant (20 h/week)**

to support multiple data-driven tasks related to course planning and course information management, communication with instructors and students, and other administrative tasks. The unit plans, manages, and evaluates all credit-bearing activities for the four Master's degrees offered by the Hertie School.

Your tasks:

- Support with course management, course enrolment, and course planning for the Master of Public Policy, the Master of International Affairs, and the Master of Data Science for Public Policy.
- Compilation, management, and analysis of course data.
- Support of Skills Workshops, including student support, catering order management, and enrolment management.
- Communication with students and instructors on course matters.
- Drafting and editing of information materials for students and instructors.
- General administration of courses via the campus management system.
- Other administrative support activities within the Curricular Affairs unit.

Your profile:

- To hold a Bachelor's degree and be enrolled as a Master's student at a German university.
- Attention to detail and an interest in the design and implementation of quality control mechanisms.
- A problem-solving mindset and an interest in continuously learning new skills and methods.
- Strong data management and analysis skills, especially in MS Excel.
- Very good communication skills in English, both oral and written. Strong German skills are a plus.
- Good interpersonal skills and high intercultural competence.
- Team spirit and an interest in contributing to the development of a highly diverse and international team.
