**This position reports to**:
Service Team Leader

**Your role and responsibilities**:
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the procurement and inspection of test and measuring equipment, ensuring an efficient measurement equipment management system. You will coordinate calibrations with external laboratories, oversee the release and blocking of equipment, and provide expert advice to users. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to independently manage the process of optimizing special tools in coordination with suppliers. The work model for the role is: #LI-hybrid This role is contributing to the Robotics & Discrete Automation Business Area in Friedberg, Germany. Main stakeholders are internal departments such as Quality Assurance, Production, and Research & Development, as well as external calibration laboratories and equipment suppliers. You will be mainly accountable for: - Selecting and evaluating suitable service providers and procuring and inspecting test and measuring equipment. - Planning and coordinating the timing and organizational process of calibration in collaboration with external calibration laboratories. - Monitoring the process of releasing and blocking measurement and test equipment. - Handling correspondence regarding the monitoring of measurement equipment. - Creating work instructions for new test and measuring equipment and advising users. - Independently managing the entire process from ordering, creating, controlling, to optimizing special tools in coordination with suppliers.

**Qualifications for the role**:

- Selecting and evaluating suitable service providers and procuring and inspecting test and measuring equipment.
