In this role as Sales Specialist (M/F/d) for General Industry (focus: Electronics) in the field of Robotics & Discrete Automation, you will be responsible for the sale of the state-of-the-art ABB robot family in Germany (from small to medium-sized enterprises to global customers), with a focus on key account management. You will leverage your experience and enthusiasm to establish long-term customer relationships and identify effective solutions for customer needs. In addition to your work in a home office setting, you will primarily be responsible for nationwide sales of the entire range of our extensive portfolio to customers on-site in Germany.

**Your responsibilities**:
- Increase sales volume and margin across the entire Robotics portfolio
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through excellent service and your knowledge of customer needs and ABB solutions
- Develop sales plans and proposals
- Supply customers with products/solutions/services in line with volume, mix, and profitability targets
- Contribute to the identification and development of new market opportunities in collaboration with the entire sales team
- Monitor customer and market trends to develop effective marketing activities in collaboration with the marketing team
- Monitor competitors' activities and ensure appropriate response strategies are formulated and implemented
- Coordinate the flow of information for sales activities and transactions, including leads, invoices, orders, contracts, etc., and analyze data to ensure goal achievement
- Monitor and provide reports on market information for the marketing and sales organization
- Embody ABB core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for your actions while caring for your colleagues and the company
**Your background**:
- Completed studies in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a similar degree; alternatively, a completed Business Administration degree combined with professional experience in a technical environment.
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience with a background in robotics or industrial automation, preferably in the Electronics industry
- Enjoy working with international teams
- Experience with web-based tools; prior experience with Sales Force is advantageous
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build customer relationships, along with an open-minded personality
- High level of independence and organizational skills to operate successfully
- Willingness to travel 70% and manage collaboration with customers both on-site and online
