With over 300 employees, the Fraunhofer Institute for Mechanics of Materials IWM has been for 50 years one of the leading institutes in Europe for predicting the behaviour of materials using simulations and scientific experiments.
**Was Du bei uns tust**
- You will be responsible for transferring an existing simulation approach to simulate the drying process of a battery electrode.
- Your task will be to develop models that accurately describe the interaction between the different components of the slurry, including particles and solvent.
- You will conduct parametric studies to investigate the effects of particle shape and size distributions on the drying process.

- You have studies in a natural science, engineering, or materials science discipline.
- You have a strong interest in fluid mechanics and its theoretical foundations.
- You possess programming skills, preferably in Python and C++.
