**THE ROLE & THE TEAM**:
Who are we: ZMS Process Excellence team is part of the recently developed Commercial Excellence unit. We are there to ensure that ZMS as a b2b commercial organization is in line with global standards and best practices, so that we can continue to grow and deliver on our business commitments.

Process Excellence is established to continuously improve commercial processes within ZMS, including the ones that connect ZMS business unit to other teams - finance, legal, etc.

The Process Excellence team is in the development phase and is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated lead who would be able to shape a vision and a mission for the team, refine roles and responsibilities and create a target operating model.

**WHAT WE'D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)**:

- You conduct quantitative and qualitative deep-dives on key processes to identify actionable insights, improvement areas and align priorities with business stakeholders
- You lead the definition of problem statements and solution space to detect root causes of problems on the level of your organization.
- You monitor process adherence & effectiveness through data driven analysis alongside presenting improvement measures
- You drive opportunity identification workshops and bottom up ideation initiatives for creation of high impact pipeline of process improvement opportunities
- You lead or sponsor a set of cross-functional projects and initiatives with senior stakeholders from the organization - taking ownership to develop new processes from scratch supported by industry benchmarking and your previous experience.
- You are able to break down complex problems and transform vague concepts into precise plans
- Establishing a value adding proposition for internal teams by using your project management & Lean skills to support improvements in their area
- You are able to capture the process in its entire complexity, suggest/implement improvements and monitor adherence if required
- Shaping the team vision, target operating model and roadmap.
- Establishing connections with wider Zalando business excellence/process excellence community to ensure best practice sharing and continuous learning environment (also for the team)

**WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF**:

- You bring strong experience of transforming business processes, and have developed your skills in identifying improvement areas across an E-2-E process.
- You are skilled in Business Process Management tooling and use it actively in your daily work
- Inquisitive and curious, you are always seeking out areas where your experience and skills can make things better.
- You are active in bringing new project ideas and are in regular contact with your wide range of stakeholders in order to be aware of new opportunities and synergies. In your previous experience you have identified a number of green-field topics, and have developed these through to implementation.
- Minimum Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
- You are experienced in turning projects around in a short time-frame and leading them across a diverse group of stakeholders.
- Previous experience of working with sales & other commercial processes, CRM transformation or implementation is a plus
- Leadership experience - passionate about developing people, coaching leadership style, experience in evaluations, career development, team management, goal setting, etc.
- Advanced stakeholder management skills, including senior level (Director, VP).
- Advanced project management experience (end to end management of the cross-functional projects from owner/leader standpoint). Project size spanning several departments and multiple stakeholders.
- You have a hands-on approach and love going into details to better understand and shape solutions
- Excellent communication skills: professional level English language skills (written & spoken)
