This organization will bring together our donation and grant programs, commercial sales efforts, and a partner ecosystem to empower nonprofits globally to address the world’s most pressing needs. This will include leading the “Digital Transformation for Social Impact” go-to-market, working with nonprofits to maximize their social impact through the power of Microsoft platforms. Profits generated from this business will be reapplied to scale operations and to support cash donations to high impact social projects. Fueling all this new work and investment is the aim of empowering every nonprofit to do their best work to create an inclusive and enduring positive impact throughout our communities.

**Responsibilities**:
This Cloud Solution Architect role is a deep technical role, working with our customers to build technical capability, create innovative solutions to their business challenges and uncover new workloads that could be migrated to Azure.
We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate Cloud Solution Architect to drive high priority customer initiatives on the Microsoft Azure Platform in collaboration with customers and the Microsoft field in the strategic accounts segment of our business. This is a customer facing role, owning overall technical relationship between customer and Microsoft Azure Platform.
This role will own the Azure technical customer engagement including architectural design sessions, specific implementation projects and Proofs of Concepts as well as collaborating with other parts of Microsoft and our partners, always with the Customers’ needs at the heart of everything you do.
**Qualifications**:
**Professional**
- ** Relationship Building.** Proven record of accomplishment of building deep technical relationships with senior IT executives in large or highly strategic accounts. Experience in managing various stakeholder relationships to get consensus on solutions/projects.
- ** Collaboration and Communication.** Acknowledged driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow through with exceptional verbal and written communication skills. The ability to orchestrate, lead, and influence virtual teams, ensuring successful implementation of customer projects. Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences (Senior Executives, IT management, Database administrators and Data Scientist)
- ** Problem Solver.** The ability to solve customer problems through cloud technologies.
- ** Collaborative. **Orchestrate and influence virtual teams to pursue sales opportunities and lead v-teams through influence.
**Technical**
- Enterprise-scale technical experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, migration, and technology management
**Deep expertise in one or more of the following**:
- Enterprise-scale technical experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, database migrations, and technology management required.
- Breadth of technical experience and knowledge, with depth / Subject Matter Expertise in two or more of the following Data Platform Cloud solutions required:
- Azure Cognitive Services
- Azure Cognitive Search
- Azure OpenAI
- SQL including OSS (postgress, MySQL etc), Azure SQL
- NoSQL Databases including OSS (Maria, Mongo etc), Cosmos DB
- Big Data including Azure Synapse, Snowflake, Big Query, Redshift
- Advanced Analytics including Azure Databricks, visualization tools as PowerBI, Fabrics and Tableau
- Data Governance
- Data Science
- Machine Learning including Azure ML, ML Server
- Expertise in data estate workloads like HDInsight, Hadoop, C
