The Global Customer Success (GCS) organization, an organization within CE&S, is leading the effort to enable customer success on the Microsoft Cloud by harnessing leading, AI-powered capabilities and human expertise to deliver innovation solutions that accelerate business value, drive operational excellence and nurture long term loyalty.

We are looking for a Cloud Solution Architect (CSA), specializing in Data and Analytics & AI, who is passionate about driving our customers’ transformation on Microsoft Azure. This is a customer-facing role, owning the technical relationship between the customer and Microsoft, helping customers to leverage their Microsoft investments through architecture, and operational health engagements.

This role is flexible in that you can work up to 100% from home.

**Responsibilities**:

- You will understand customers’ overall data estate Business and IT priorities and success measures to design, troubleshoot and/ or review Data & Analytics solutions that drive business value and drive positive Customer Satisfaction and become a trusted advisor.
- You will ensure that solution exhibits high levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, repeatability, appropriate reusability, and reliability upon deployment and provide feedback and insights from customers/partners.
- You will be the Voice of Customer to share insights and best practices, connect with Engineering team to remove key blockers and drive product improvements.
- You will maintain technical skills and knowledge, keep up to date with market trends and competitive insights; collaborate and share with the AI technical community while educating customers on Azure platform.
- You will influence Azure consumption via high quality proactive support service deliveries.
- You will accelerate customer outcomes - Share expertise, contribute to IP creation and re-use to accelerate customer outcomes and obtain relevant accreditations and certifications.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND hands on experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting
- OR equivalent experience.
- Fluency in both German and English language is a must given the need to work with native German speaking customers and those who are English speaking as well.
- Deep technical hands-on understanding of databases, SQL and reporting services.
- Experience in the enterprise customer data management and development.
- Face-to-face customer engagement skills.
- Excellent written, oral and presentation skills.
- Troubleshooting knowledge and skills.
- Deep understanding of Cloud technologies.
- Microsoft accreditation or proven experience with SQL query syntax, SQL query tuning and optimizations in addition to SQL configurations at instance and database level is good to have.
- Good understanding and knowledge of Fabric, Open AI, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Synapse would be core to the success of this role.
