The Hertie School in Berlin prepares exceptional students for leadership positions in government, business, and civil society. We are looking for a

**Student Assistant (gn) - Student Funding**

part-time (10-15 hours per week).

The contract shall commence as of 01 February 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter, and is limited for a maximum of two years. You will support the Student Funding team and the Director of Recruitment, Admissions and Student Finance.

Your tasks:

- Provide advice on topics such as scholarships, student loans and other sources of funding to prospective students
- Individual online and in-person consultations for prospective and admitted students to explore internal and external funding opportunities
- Follow up proactively on individual cases
- Track communications and information requests from prospective and admitted students
- Prepare reports for various stakeholders at the School
- Other administrative tasks
- Research potential new cooperations with funding institutions in key markets (e.g., Germany, Europe, US, Latin America and India)

Your profile:

- Enrolled at a German University for the duration of the contract (two years)
- Hands-on approach and strong pro-active service orientation
- Ability to work independently and reliably, with attention to detail
- Proficient in MS Office
- Strong intercultural competences
- Very good oral and written skills in German and English
