**Duties**:

- Presents OSI capabilities to a variety of service, national, and coalition customers. Provides Commanders and other customers the intelligence information and analysis derived from OSI assets to maximize their own forces' effectiveness by exploiting adversary weaknesses and countering adversary strengths. Independently monitors and assesses intelligence activities and reporting mechanisms for information and products of value to assigned areas of responsibility. Proactive in arranging program access to this information and in establishing new requirements that link with the IC resources. Identifies the requirement and delivers a fused intelligence product to a consumer.
- Conducts complex analysis of multi-source intelligence. Performs analysis and leads projects in support of OSI activities with focused analysis in order to evaluate the significance of the information collected, extract and further disseminate relevant information, identify operational opportunities and leads, provide guidance to the case agent, and coordinate actions within the intelligence and law enforcement communities. Evaluates both classified and unclassified information to understand adversary strengths, weaknesses and centers of gravity. Conducts research, evaluates, analyzes and makes recommendations on complex assignments to fuse multi-source information from intelligence disciplines (HUMINT, SIGINT, GEOINT, and OSINT) to satisfy a broad range of customer requirements within assigned areas of responsibility.
- Manages intelligence production, participates in the direction, coordination, review and evaluation of counterintelligence activities within OSI, and coordinates those activities with DoD and national-level agencies. Manages intelligence production to satisfy customer requirements. Applies independent judgment in balancing the operational need for accuracy and expediency in satisfying production objectives. Uses experience, critical thinking, and independent judgment to develop and implement the best methods or approaches to meet timelines and accuracy of production needs. Depending on the needs of the decision maker and reporting requirements, the incumbent uses a variety of different production formats to provide finished products. Develops new concepts, guides, and methodologies in the solution of unprecedented problems. Tracks customer satisfaction and the value of all intelligence production lines and adjusts production efforts based on feedback.
- Provides recommendations to functional authority on counterintelligence issues for Agency leadership. Serves as an expert for an intelligence function, process, program, or system. Makes recommendations and defends positions to the Commander and OSI staff on operational policy matters. Recommendations may have a significant impact on the committal of OSI resources impacting future capabilities. Represents OSI in meetings with planners from other MAJCOMs, Air Staff, DoD, IC, other national agencies. Partners with members and offices in the DAF, DoD, and IC to identify and resolve intelligence issues related to protecting DoD personnel, interests, and resources. Reviews and evaluates multi-source, complex technical intelligence that varies in clarity and validity. Recommendations may Shapes, fuses, and influences the content, form, and format of tailored, timely, accurate and relevant assessments to internal/external mid-level clients of all types on policy-making, acquisition, and/or operational customer sets. Applies independent judgment in balancing the situation's need for accuracy and expediency.

- All new DCIPS employees are required to complete a two-year DCIPS trial period.

- Position may be eligible for DCIPS STEM TLMS.
- Employee may be required to work other than normal duty hours, to include evenings, weekends and/or holidays
- Shift work and emergency overtime may be required
- Employee must maintain current certifications

- Professional staff (pro-staff) Suitability Investigations (PSI): The incumbent must undergo an internal background investigation by AFOSI and must be approved for duty by the Commander of AFOSI or the Commander's designated representative(s).
- Mobility: Mobility is a condition of employment. The employee must sign an Air Force-wide mobility agreement.
- Overtime may be required as workload demands and in some cases with no-notice due to urgency of timesensitive matters. Periodic shift work may be required if assigned as a watch-standing analyst.
