**Job Description**:
The Retail & Lifestyle division is one of four sales divisions within the Consumer Panel (CP) in Germany. Our team provides data-based advice to B2B customers from the FMCG Retail, Nonfood & Fashion, Travel & Mobility and Media & Entertainment sectors.

As Account Director (M/F/d) in the Client Management Team (CMT) in the Media & Entertainment division, you will be responsible for business with our book and media clients. You will be responsible for sales of the entire Consumer Panel product range and manage the deployment of the team in this area. The Account Director (M/F/d) reports to the Senior Director in Nuremberg and will focus on advising clients with the classic Consumer Panel portfolio and the Advanced Solutions portfolio in order to develop customised insights for clients.

You will:

- Organise & manage the Book & Media team incl. development of a strategy for the area
- Have sales responsibility for the entire CMT and AST Solution portfolio in this area
- Develop existing customers and expansion of the existing customer base
- Have functional management and development of a small team of (junior) consultants
- Independently support and implementation of customer requirements
- Provide a customer-orientated analysis of data, including drawing up conclusions and recommendations for the customer on your own responsibility
- Present the analysis results to the customer, presence at specialised events and trade fairs
- Optimise internal work processes and initiation of efficiency measures, support in solving quality issues
- Ensure and optimise cooperation with other divisions and interfaces within the Consumer Panel
- Establish and develop cooperation with YouGov in the area for which you are responsible

You have:

- Many years of experience (8 years+) in marketing and market research as well as in the support & further development of clients, also at C-level
- Strong analytical skills with regard to panel and ad hoc research, a comprehensive understanding of consumer panel research (methodology and analysis options) is desirable
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Enjoy building and expanding customer relationships and networks
- Strong sales and negotiation skills, assertiveness both internally and externally
- Comprehensive understanding of the business needs of the various customer stakeholders and of customer support
- Affinity for the media and entertainment industry
- Pleasure in independently developing new, innovative solutions
- Fluent in German and English
- Very good MS Office skills, especially PowerPoint and Excel

This position will be based in our German office in Nuremberg (_hybrid_) but will require regular travelling to customers and events.

Sie Werden:

- Organisation & Steuerung des Buch & Media Teams inkl. Entwicklung einer Strategie für den Bereich
- Umsatzverantwortung für das gesamte CMT und AST Solution Portfolio in diesem Bereich
- Entwicklung bestehender Kunden sowie Ausbau des bestehenden Kundenstammes
- Funktionale Führung und Entwicklung eines kleinen Teams von (Junior) Consultants
- Eigenständige Betreuung und Umsetzung der Kundenanforderungen
- Kundenorientierte Analyse der Daten inkl. Erstellung eigenverantwortlicher Schlussfolgerungen sowie Empfehlung für den Kunden
- Präsentation der Analyseergebnisse beim Kunden, Präsenz auf fachspezifischen Veranstaltungen und Messen
- Optimierung der internen Arbeitsprozesse und Initiierung von Effizienzmaßnahmen, Unterstützung bei der Lösung von Qualitätsthemen
- Sicherstellung und Optimierung der Zusammenarbeit mit anderen Divisions und Schnittstellen innerhalb des Consumer Panels
