Summary
We are looking for a "Head of Radar Equipment Engineering (f/m/d)" for the "Computers & Digital Electronics Engineering" department at the Ulm site as soon as possible.
The main department "Computers and Digital Electronics Engineering" is responsible for the design, development and delivery of digital and mixed-signal subsystems, modules, FPGAs, ASICs and PCBs for the Spectrum Dominance, Airborne Solutions and Radar divisions.
The Radar Equipment Engineering department is responsible for the development of digital and mixed-signal hardware subsystems, primarily for radar products.
Your Tasks- Disciplinary and technical management of the "Radar Equipment Engineering" organizational unit- Definition, development and delivery of subsystems (e.g. computers, mixed signal equipment, sensors) in close cooperation with system areas, external partners and production- Ensuring compliance with quality standards and processes- Budget planning and control- Further development of relevant processes and procedures, identification of potential for improvement and implementation of optimization measures- Ensuring technological competence- Coordinating the technologies used with the relevant stakeholders
Your Profile- Completed studies, preferably in the field of electrical engineering or comparable- Extensive experience in the series development of electronic devices and assemblies- Experience in actively managing internal and external stakeholders to achieve common goals- Experience in managing employees and in motivating and developing a team- Knowledge in the areas of operating systems and FPGAs / ASICs / semiconductor technologies- Supplementary knowledge of standards in military electronics as well as development standards in the military and civilian sector is advantageous- Ability to communicate in environments with divergent objectives- Analytical thinking and strong problem-solving skills- Practice-oriented behavior and a "hands-on" mentality and courage to make decisions- Very good knowledge of German and English
