**Duties**:

- Serve as an IT Specialist (INFOSEC) at the Army Service Component Command within the Cyberspace Operations Plans (COPB), Office of the U.S. Army Europe (USAREUR-AF) Office of the Chief Information Officer (CIO/G6), Cybersecurity Division (CSD).
- Provide theater-level cyberspace planning in support of USAREUR-AF, Joint, and Combatant Command (CCMD) Exercises and Operations.
- Ensures Cyberspace training objectives are developed for USAREUR-AF Exercises.
- Authors, coordinates and updates annually theater cyber strategy, policies, directives, and guidance to implement cybersecurity operational requirements.
- Provide immediate and continuing support during a national emergency or mobilization. it is necessary for the incumbent to perform the duties after the evacuation of nonessential personnel, including any dependents of members of the armed forces;
- from the zone in connection with a war, a national emergency declared by Congress or the President, or the commencement of combat operations of the armed forces in the zone;
- it cannot be vacated without seriously impairing the capability of the Army or USAREUR. This position is specifically intended to provide civilian support in response to contingencies, disaster relief, or other emergency operations.

**Conditions of Employment**:

- One year trial/probationary period may be required.
- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
- You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.
- Applicants must comply with the Exceptional Family Member Program requirements as outlined in the DoD Instruction 1315.19.
- The incumbent must achieve and maintain Information Assurance (IA) certification within six months of assignment of position.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 20% of the time.
- This position requires the incumbent to sign an overseas rotation agreement to return from the foreign area in 5 years upon appointment or placement, unless otherwise extended or exempt.
- This position requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain a no-fee passport and associated visa while assigned to a Federal civilian position in an area requiring a passport and associated visa, if authorized.
- This position requires the incumbent to participate in readiness exercises.
- This position is considered Key, and the essential nature of the position prohibits the position from being vacated during a national emergency or mobilization and cannot be filled by Ready Reservists or military retirees with recall obligations.
- A family care plan is required for single parents or families where both parents are either Key, emergency essential, non-combat essential, and/or mission essential, including situations where one parent is in the military.
- Failure to perform the duties of this position may result in appropriate action - defined as separation for the efficiency of the Federal service under the procedures contained in 5 CFR 752.
- Direct deposit of pay is required.

Examples of IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: resolving routine and non-routine problems, questions, or complaints; developing and maintaining strong, mutually supportive working relationships with customers; conducting evaluation of support to determine quality of services and customer satisfaction, and recommending procedural changes based on customer need or changes in policy and/or regulation.
