Takeda Germany is seeking a highly motivated and experienced **_Statutory Arbeitsdirektor and Head of People Advisory Group (M/F/d) _**to join our team.

**_ ROLE OBJECTIVE_**:
In this role, you will be responsible for providing Country Leadership, from strategy to execution, working across all business units and functions operating in Germany on all matters relating to strategy enablement, labor relations, employee relations, HR policies, HR governance, and PAG related capability. You will be a key member of the German Management and Supervisory Board and an equal member of the German Takeda GmbH Management Board. You will also be a member of the Multi-Country PAG Leadership team.

ACCOUNTABILITIES_**:
Your accountabilities will include creating and leading Germany Country & Functional HR Governance processes and platforms that align and enable HR priorities across multiple business units and functions. You will establish Germany Labor Relations Framework, develop Labor relations strategy in partnership with Embedded HR, and define and drive communication, negotiation and implementation strategy of labor relations and labor law agreements at country level in partnership with Embedded HR, works council, Management Board, and Communications Teams.

In addition, you will provide expertise and guidance on employee relations to the Supervisory Board and German Takeda GmbH Management Board that enable business decisions and Takeda Country strategy to drive exceptional employee experience. You will oversee and investigate complex ER cases, particularly involving senior managers or where the risks are potentially significant, acting as the central point of contact for Ethics & Compliance and Legal on those matters. You will also maintain up-to-date knowledge of EU Regulations, Germany labor law and tribunal cases, and ensure compliance.

**Country Governance and Policy Development**:

- Create and Lead Germany Country & Functional HR Governance processes and platforms that align and enable HR priorities across multiple business units and functions. Specifically leads Germany HR Country Council and Governance to align ER and LR priorities, polices and framework across PAG, People Solutions, Embedded HR and TA.
- Partner as appropriate on Country Policy Development creating a consistent HR Policy Framework Suite and define local exceptions to country & global policies to enable consistent Employee Experience
- In the role capacity as Labour Director, this role will provide reports into the Supervisory Board in Germany and be accountable for all HR Related Functions with specific focus on Employee and Labour Relations internally and externally in close partnership with the Chairman of the Supervisory Board and the members of the Management Board.
- In the roles capacity as a member of the Multi Country PAG Leadership Team, this role will be accountable for bringing the MCPAG Strategy to life in the context of Germany and shape the Global PAG agenda.

**Labour Relations**
- Point of contact for the German works council and engages with the works councils, the local workforce, and the trade unions in HR related matters and assigned to perform the tasks of the employer under works constitution law
- Establish Germany Labor Relations Framework & develop Labour relations strategy in partnership with Embedded HR and alignment with Takeda GmbH Germany Management Board
- Define and drive communication, negotiation and implementation strategy of labor relations and labor law agreements at country level in partnership with Embedded HR, works council, Management Board and Communications Teams.
- Coordinates with COEIs & German HR Community on the harmonization of compensation and benefits at country level and relevant employee communication
- Represent and facilitate local negotiations in line with German labor law, in particular the works constitution and of the Codetermination Act at all locations in alignment with Takeda Philosophy& Guidance
- Manage acquisition integration/ divestment communication/ consultation for Germany as required
- In line with company plans and in coordination with German Takeda GmbH Management Board and HR Business Leads manage, negotiate, prepare and sign agreements with works council and trade unions.
- Oversee Country HR communication approaches and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure that Non -BU orCountry Related HR-related messages impacting all German BU and Functions a
