**Details of the role and how it fits into the team**
- The Chief Data Office is responsible for setting and driving implementation of the Group Data Strategy, ensuring regulatory expectations are met whilst delivering an optimised data management approach as a key differentiator for the Bank. _
- The Group Head of Data Transformation will report into the Chief Data Officer (CDO) with accountability to lead the data transformation portfolio across the group. This will include all central data KDs and other key initiatives impacting all divisions across the Bank. The role will include direct management of the data transformation teams across the globe and indirect management of resources working on the various initiatives. The role will include managing third party relationships along with regulator and senior executive engagement on a regular basis.**Your key responsibilities**
- Lead group wide data initiatives (KDs and other initiatives) successfully, setting and delivering ambitious business outcomes for the Group
- Engagement with all divisions in the Group to successfully navigate delivery issues to conclusion
- Leadership of a significant central data transformation team across global locations, creating a culture of high performance and personal development
- Regulator and senior executive engagement, up to MB level, providing narrative and measurable progress on delivery commitments
- Mobilisation of new initiatives and development of business cases to support those initiatives
- Management of a significant CtB budget (multi 10s of m)
- Establishment of a transformation portfolio management function for data providing transparency of progress and outcomes for all levels of the Group
- Designing delivery programmes and execution strategies to achieve desired outcomes for the Bank, working closely with the CDO ExCo team to execute

**Your skills and experience**:

- Minimum 15+ years of total experience across Programme and Portfolio management in Transformation.
- End to End experience in large scale transformation delivery in financial institutions, specifically Data execution.
- Understanding the full Software Development lifecycle experience in Agile Delivery Model
- Strong Communication skills and Stakeholder management across global teams.
