**About the Role**
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Graphic Designer to join our University Communications and Marketing team. This full-time, permanent position is ideal for a creative individual with a hands-on mindset who thrives in a fast-paced environment. As a central member of our dynamic 5-person Marketing team, you will collaborate closely with other departments, such as Communications and Student Recruitment.
**Your Responsibilities**:
- Design & Production: Create and manage the design, layout, and production of print and digital advertising materials (e.g., brochures, ads, flyers) and oversee project management for their delivery.
- Multichannel Adaptation: Adapt existing designs to fit various channels while ensuring consistent brand communication across all platforms.
- Content Creation: Develop creative content for both offline and online use, including illustrations, animations, and short videos for social media.
- Template Development: Create and maintain design templates (e.g., Canva) for use across all communication channels.
- Image Editing & Management: Perform image editing, manage image research, and maintain the university’s image database.
- Project Management: Lead small-scale design projects such as branded gifts, and internal communication screens.
- Rebranding Roll-Out: Play a key role in implementing the university’s rebranding across all channels, ensuring adherence to the new corporate design.
**Your qualifications**:
- Professional Experience: 1-3 years of experience in media, graphic, or communication design.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat).
- Language Skills: Good command of both English and German.
- Creative & Conceptual Thinking: Strong conceptual abilities, with an eye for detail, and the ability to assertively advise and collaborate with colleagues.
- Self-Organization: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage tasks efficiently, even during high-pressure periods.
- Innovation & Creativity: A creative thinker who is eager to bring fresh ideas to the table and contribute to innovative marketing initiatives.
