**We are looking for**:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Designer (M/F/d) for our product team with immediate effect.
**Your mission**:
- Lead the end-to-end design process, combining UX and UI expertise, to create intuitive and delightful user experiences across our product portfolio.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and stakeholders, to understand user needs and business requirements and translate them into effective design solutions.
- Conduct user research, user interviews, and usability testing to gain insights into user behavior and preferences and leverage these insights to inform UX and UI design decisions.
- Develop wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs to communicate design concepts and ensure a seamless user experience.
- Create and maintain a comprehensive UI design system, including style guides, design patterns, and UI component libraries, to ensure consistency and efficiency in design implementation.
- Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering their growth in UX and UI design best practices, and nurturing a collaborative design culture within the team.
- Take ownership of UI-related topics, advocating for user-centered design principles, current design trends, and emerging UI technologies and methodologies.
- Drive the development and evolution of the UI discipline within the design team, working towards establishing best practices, processes, and standards for UI design.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and visually appealing brand identity, aligning UI designs with the overall brand strategy.
**What you need to succeed**:
**Requirements**:
- A strong portfolio demonstrating your expertise in both UX and UI design, showcasing your ability to create user-centered designs and visually compelling interfaces.
- 5 years of experience working as a product designer, with a strong focus on both UX and UI design.
- Proficiency in UX and UI design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and information architecture.
- Strong visual design skills with a keen eye for typography, color, layout, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present and articulate design concepts to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Language Skills:
- Fluency in English (both written and verbal) is required.
- Proficiency in German (both written and verbal) is a plus.
**Preferred Skills**:
- Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their impact on design implementation.
- Knowledge of motion design and prototyping tools such as Principle, InVision, or After Effects.
- Understanding of accessibility principles and designing for diverse user needs.
