Introduction

Your Role and Responsibilities
- Design & explain customized IT solutions with IBM Z & IBM LinuxONE Hardware and the operating systems z/OS and Linux on IBM Z
- Run successful Proof-of-Concepts, technical Workshops and technical Presentations
- Build a strong relationship with your assigned IBM Z customers and be their trusted advisor
- Work autonomously in a sales incentive role together with the IBM zStack team, the IBM lab and IBM support
- Participate in ongoing professional development activities to build knowledge of emerging trends & technologies
- Become a zStack focal point for your favourite IBM Z or IBM LinuxONE technology stack and explain this to internal and external audiences on web meetings and technical conferences

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience in IT sales, pre-sales engineering, or similar role
- Familiarity with components & operating systems that make an IBM Z IT environment
- Strong communication and presentation skills in fluent English and German, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Linux operating system

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience with IBM Z family of servers, storage devices and the z/OS operating system
- Knowledge of emerging trends in IT enterprise computing, such as AI, encryption technology, cloud computing and its use-cases on IBM Z & IBM LinuxONE
- Practical experience with IBM Z presales engineering, solution architecture, or consultancy roles
