**Company Description**

Flixgrid GmbH is a Berlin-based start-up focused on maximizing the value of energy storage systems by providing innovative commercial & industrial solar+storage solutions. Our goal is to connect all storage hardware manufacturers and enable energy-as-a-service through our platform. In our first year, we have successfully acquired megawatt-scale projects.

**Role Description**

This is a full-time internship at Flixgrid GmbH, based in Berlin, with the exciting opportunity for high-performing interns to transition into a permanent position after graduation.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the development of C&I or utility-scale energy storage projects, especially solar + storage co-location/hybrid projects.
- Support the team in communications with major Distribution System Operators (DSOs) and Transmission System Operators (TSOs), and help prepare necessary documentation.
- Assist in the process of obtaining building and grid connection permits, and suggest ways to streamline these processes.
- Participate in the preparation of financial plans for energy storage projects and conduct preliminary research for project/land acquisition.

**Requirements**:

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Energy Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of energy storage systems and solar power, with a desire to learn and grow in C&I or utility-scale project development.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Fluency in both German and English is required.
- Ability to work independently with strong organizational and time management skills.
- A keen interest in the energy sector; previous internship experience in the field is a plus.

**Rollenbeschreibung**

Dies ist ein Vollzeit-Praktikum bei der Flixgrid GmbH mit Sitz in Berlin, mit der spannenden Möglichkeit, nach dem Abschluss in eine Festanstellung überzugehen, wenn du dich bewährst.

**Hauptaufgaben**:

- Unterstützung bei der Entwicklung von C&I- oder großtechnischen Energiespeicherprojekten, insbesondere von Solar+Speicher-Co-Location-/Hybridprojekten.
- Unterstützung des Teams bei der Kommunikation mit wichtigen Verteilnetzbetreibern (DSOs) und Übertragungsnetzbetreibern (TSOs) sowie bei der Erstellung notwendiger Dokumentationen.
- Mithilfe beim Einholen von Baugenehmigungen und Netzanschlussgenehmigungen sowie Vorschläge zur Optimierung dieser Prozesse.
- Teilnahme an der Erstellung von Finanzplänen für Energiespeicherprojekte und Durchführung von Voruntersuchungen für die Projekt
- bzw. Grundstücksakquise.

**Anforderungen**:

- Derzeitiges Studium im Bereich Energieingenieurwesen, Elektrotechnik, Erneuerbare Energien, Umweltwissenschaften oder einem verwandten Fachgebiet (Bachelor oder Master).
- Grundkenntnisse über Energiespeichersysteme und Solarenergie mit dem Wunsch, in der Entwicklung von C&I- oder großtechnischen Projekten zu lernen und zu wachsen.
- Ausgeprägte Kommunikationsfähigkeiten und die Fähigkeit, effektiv im Team zusammenzuarbeiten.
- Fließende Deutsch
- und Englischkenntnisse sind erforderlich.
- Fähigkeit, eigenständig zu arbeiten, mit ausgeprägten organisatorischen und zeitlichen Fähigkeiten.
- Großes Interesse am Energiesektor; einschlägige Praktikumserfahrung ist von Vorteil.
