Project Manager - Large-Scale Battery Storage

Ava Energy is partnering with a leading innovator in large-scale battery storage to drive the execution of their rapidly expanding battery energy storage projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee approved projects from development through construction, grid connection, and final commissioning.
  • Represent the project to external stakeholders, including investors, regulatory bodies, and grid operators.
  • Manage EPC contractors directly to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
  • Conduct site visits to track progress, resolve on-site issues, and ensure project standards are met.
  • Lead project teams and contribute to the development of project benchmarks and internal processes.
  • Review and enforce contracts with EPC partners and suppliers, ensuring full compliance with all terms.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical, mechanical, civil engineering, or a related field.
  • ~3+ years of project management experience.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with an understanding of diverse practices in an international business setting.
  • Expertise in project commissioning, including follow-up with contractors and site approval for construction and quality checks.
  • Proficient in both spoken and written business English and German.
