You will be responsible for building out the entire sales initiative starting in Germany, and then expanding across Switzerland, Netherlands, Sweden and other jurisdictions on an opportunistic basis. This includes the onboarding of the sales teams in each jurisdiction and designing and implementing the overall sales strategy and overall responsibility for all client relationships across these jurisdictions. At the start we would expect you to roll up your sleeves and onboard clients from day 1 as you start to build out the team.

In this role, you will:

- Spearhead our sales strategy, including client acquisition strategy for buyers, sellers and companies who want to run liquidity programs. This includes:

- Outreach and development of new relationships with institutional investors as potential buyers, such as asset managers, wealth managers, family offices, HNWIs and others;
- Build relationships with sellers ranging from individuals (founders, executives, business angels) to venture capital/private equity firms and their limited partners; and
- Build out the sales teams starting in Germany and then expanding to the other jurisdictions in 2024 and beyond, including designing appropriate compensation structures for the team.
- Manage cross-border secondary transactions and its stakeholders. We are building a European marketplace which is designed to facilitate cross-border transactions from the start. You will therefore be expected to help: (i) align transaction demand and supply across multiple jurisdictions with your counterparts in Europe, and (ii) work closely with operations, legal, and other stakeholders to manage a seamless process for all parties in order to deliver a first-class customer experience.

Support the launch of new products and services, expansion into new markets, and improving the tech product by closely working together with the product / technology team.

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years in financial services ideally in a sales capacity. Preferably with a background in investment banking, venture capital and / or private equity.
- Experience in high growth startups (either as a founder or advisor) is a bonus.
- Leadership experience shaping sales strategies, including building and leading sales teams.
- Expertise or at least a working understanding in managing complex private transactions, private placements and secondaries, preferably in late-stage growth companies.
- Relentless commitment to client service above all else.
- Strong people skills with an empathetic mindset.
