CTF SOLAR GmbH is a leading developer and supplier of CdTe technology for thin-film solar modules. We take processes
developed on a laboratory and pilot scale and turn them into industrial production techniques, teaming up with specialized
partners to design the corresponding machinery.

CTF SOLAR GmbH provides technology for production lines manufacturing CdTe thin-film solar modules all around the globe,
predominantly in China. This involves the planning for and implementation of the entire process and metrology equipment as
well as the selection and qualification of equipment and raw material suppliers. Operations are underway in our first high volume
manufacturing factories in Chengdu, Handan and Ruichang, China, with an annual capacity of 100 MWP each. Construction work
on other CTF SOLAR technology Fab projects with a combined capacity of >1 GWP started already.

Currently with around 50 employees from over ten different countries, CTF SOLAR GmbH is fully owned by Chinese company
CTIEC, one of the world’s Global Top 200 Engineering Companies based in Shanghai.

To support our further growth, we would like to expand our R&D team in Dresden and are therefore looking for an:
**PostDoc / R&D Scientist (M/F/d)
**Your responsibilities**:

- Research on the technology for CdTe thin film solar cells and modules and tandem solar cells
- Experiment planning, data analysis and reporting of scientific results
- Participate in the design and specification of new equipment for solar module production
- Propose and participate in the evaluation of technology development and methodology improvement programs for the

entire production process of Thin Film Solar Modules
- Support for the ramp up of production lines world wide
- Attend conferences, fairs, etc. Travel will vary, but generally will require world-wide trips
- Generation of patents and know-how

**Requirements**:

- University degree in physics, materials science or similar with expertise in semiconductor technology or photovoltaics
- Proven track record as a successful scientist for solar cells, preferably **CdTe technology **AND/OR** tandem solar cells**
- Statistic process analysis, analysis of large data sets and design of experiments (DoE)
- Technical expertise and intrinsic motivation (machine experience is an advantage)
- Passion about solving scientific problems
- Good command of MS Office and software for data analysis
- Communication skills and be willing to cooperate
- Fluent in English, German language skills are a plus
- Experience in working in interdisciplinary, international teams; have an interest in other cultures
- Willing to travel to conferences, fairs and factory ramp up
