Application Specialist

To strengthen our team, we are looking for an **Application Specialist (M/F/d) for our Liquid Chromatography (LC) Application Development** team in Waldbronn, near Karlsruhe.
The Liquid Phase Division is part of the Agilent Technologies' Life Science and Applied Markets Group - a leading supplier of analytical equipment for the life science laboratory. Here in Waldbronn we have worldwide responsibilities within Agilent Technologies for R&D, Marketing and Manufacturing of HPLC and Electrophoretic measurement solutions as well as Lab-on-a-Chip products.
Are you familiar with the latest UHPLC techniques? Do you enjoy the investigation of the practical value of new technology and UHPLC systems? If your answer is yes, then you should take this opportunity.
**You will**:
- Work with the latest, innovative UHPLC technology in the lab
- Work with customers, the sales team and product managers to lead the definition of Application Notes
- Acquire data to translate system features into customer benefits
- Communicate the results to our sales team and our customers by generating Application Notes but also customer presentations
- Communicate and interact with market-focused marketing and sales teams covering specific target markets - inspired to learn about our customers around the globe
**Qualifications**:
- You have completed a Master’s degree or PhD in the Chemical/Life Science/Nutritional science field or similar and have already gained your first relevant professional work experience in separation science
- You have a wealth of experience and the theoretical background of different LC techniques, like UHPLC, 2D-LC, GPC, preparative LC or others
- You have outstanding oral and written communication skills, you have an outgoing and communicative personality with fluency in English and German, and you are experienced in writing scientific publications
- You have proven your ability to work successfully in a team and take leadership of your own projects
