The Customer Engagement Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for the development and implementation of the customer engagement Supply Chain strategy for German customers in order to become the customer’s preferred supplier, drive business growth and profitability.

**Key activities include**:

- Develop and complement customer engagement Supply Chain strategy for Germany
- Work in collaboration with the Customer Development team to achieve sales targets, grow the business and help develop customer engagement into an internal competitive advantage
- Develop and deliver innovative collaboration initiatives and joint value creation projects with Customers
- Drive customer logistics cost reduction through identification and implementation of continuous improvement projects
- Collaborate with the Customer Development team to ensure customer compliance of Colgate’s Terms & Conditions.
- Establish collaborative relationships at multiple levels and functions within the customer’s organization
- Engage with customers to develop and deliver Joint Supply Chain Business Plans (JDP) and integrate these into the commercial JBP where appropriate
- Cooperate directly with national trading partners (food retailers, drugstores, etc.)
- Cooperate with external organizations to represent the company's interests and to identify future customer trends.
- Support the Customer Development and Legal teams in negotiation of Logistics terms for German customers.
- Understand Customer geographic legal supply chain requirements and work across functions to ensure Colgate Compliance
- Drive simplification of internal processes and reports in order to increase efficiency
- Measure & Track Performance - Aligned, measure, report, and drive improvement of customer experience.
- Manage customer master data and be a supportive role for operational challenges

**Requirements**:

- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration; B.S. in Logistics, Engineering, Finance or equivalent experience. MBA a plus
- 3-6+ years experience in logistics, demand planning, customer engagement and/or key account management in Consumer Goods
- Fluent written and spoken German and English
- SAP S/4 and APO-DP systems experience a plus
