Recreation Assistant

**Duties**:

- Is accountable for retail operations and assists with inventory controls.
- In a patron usage facility, circulates among patrons to assure service is satisfactory; receives and resolves customer complaints. Provides information and general instructions on the use of equipment, facilities and machinery
- Assists patrons in use of the facility by checking out equipment, providing safety instruction, demonstrating new equipment, teaching classes, etc
- Plans, conducts, publicizes and arranges support for special events, social activities, tournaments and related functions. May provide work guidance to other staff.

- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Completed and signed DA Form 3433 is required prior to entrance on duty.
- In consideration of infectious diseases, personnel within this area may routinely wear personal protective equipment (cloth face coverings, latex gloves, and face shields) while performing their regular duties.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation

**Qualifications**:

- Work experience which involved dealing with the general public.
