To support our dynamic Product Engineering Team at the Nürburgring Test Centre and for an immediate start we are looking for a:
**Northern European Test Facilities Team Leader (f/m/d)**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Running a detailed day by day plan for the facility ensuring capacity is managed efficiently for people and test vehicles
- Ensuring Health and Safety requirements are followed, best practises are in place
- Liaising on a daily basis through out the year with UK engineering teams to plan and facilitate testing needs
- Financial management of Winter test facility budget
- Winter Proving Ground day to day management (on site or remote) of tracks, Engineering and marketing activities
- Workshop supervisor cover when needed for chosen location, planning and issuing all work through the facility
- Delivery of turnkey Winter durability testing
- Ensure the facility is always prepared to support upcoming workload in terms of people, equipment and infrastructure
- Plan & manage in-market driver training activities (Snow & Ice)
- Involvement with local community and suppliers - good working relationships and image for Jaguar Land Rover, with local police, fire and healthcare, hotels, other local suppliers, local airport etc.
- Prepared to travel to other JLR overseas test sites (Europe, USA, MENA)
- Provide engineering, local and environmental expertise and on-site lead for PR/marketing activities
- Manage import / export of incoming JLR test and marketing vehicles, test equipment
- Post-Brexit management of all Sweden travel requirements
- Provide additional electrical and engineering support to resolve vehicle issues
- Vehicle engineer and facility support at Nürburgring Test Centre outside the Winter test season
- Design and implementation of new facilities
- Management of departmental website, audit tools, facility user guides

**Skills and Qualifications **required**:

- Served a recognised apprenticeship/Degree in Engineering
- Experience in Automotive Engineering
- Proficient user of Engineering tools - such as INCA/ASL/CANALYZER
- Whole vehicle evaluation experience
- Can lead workshop activities supporting all areas of the JLR Business
- Fast and responsive - working to strict deadlines
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
- Strong communication skills - verbal and written
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Team player - Maintain close working relationships with all other employees of the business to assist in the facilitation and delivery of testing
- Ability to communicate at all levels within the JLR business
- An individual with the capability to combine a short term, pragmatic focus with medium term planning
- An effective team player, actively develops and supports team members
- ‘Can do’ attitude when challenges occur
- A full driving license, no disqualification, 2 years accident-free record
- Can travel overseas for extended periods of time
