We are looking for a personality with proven theoretical and practical skills and a university degree in

Master's courses "Civil Engineering" and "Infrastructure and Environment" as well as the

The tasks in teaching include training in building materials science in the field of pavement
engineering as part of the basic Bachelor-courses and road and track construction technology as part
of main Bachelor-courses, the offer of in-depth theory and practice-related elective lectures and
projects as well as the supervision of theses.

In addition to teaching technical, methodical and instrumental skills, the aspects of sustainable,
resource-saving use of building materials and their reuse under current ecological conditions should
be specially addressed. Moreover, cooperation with colleagues from the Transport and Geotechnics
departments is expected for research and teaching. The ability to teach in German and English is
required.

The position is available for an unlimited period of time. When first appointed to a professorship,
employment is initially on a probationary civil service basis or on a permanent employment basis
with a three-year probationary period.
